Use MedBillAnalyzer in Grok

Add it once as a custom connector. After that, give Grok a medical bill and the Explanation of Benefits your insurer sent for the same care, and ask it to check them. It takes about a minute.

Add the connector

On grok.com, open Plugins in the sidebar and choose New Connector → Custom. The names can shift a little as Grok updates; you are looking for a custom connector.
Name it MedBillAnalyzer, and for the Server URL enter:

Choose Add Connector. There is no sign-in to set up: there are no accounts, and each check is reached only by its own private link.

On Grok Business and Enterprise, a team admin provisions a connector before members can use it.

Check a bill

Start a chat, attach your bill and your Explanation of Benefits, or type the figures from them, and ask:

Use MedBillAnalyzer to check this bill against my EOB.

Naming MedBillAnalyzer tells Grok to use the connector. Grok sends it the figures from your documents and tells you what the comparison found.

What it costs

The check and the summary of what it found are free. The detail behind each finding, a dispute letter and a phone script cost $10 for one bill, or $10 a month for a Membership that covers up to 25 bills a month. Grok gives you a secure checkout link when you ask for them, and you pay on that page. If we find nothing, you pay nothing.

Your documents

What reaches us is what Grok sends: the figures read off your documents. We keep the results for 30 days and then delete them, and nothing is used to train AI models — the Privacy Policy has the detail. Your conversation with Grok itself is covered by your Grok account’s terms with xAI.
